Day zero review - take it with a grain of salt: (purchased for an Ipad Mini (1 - original version)Overall, the 'leather like' cover looks nice. Stitching appears real.Holes for charge port, speakers, camera, headphone jack and mute switch are in the right places, and look to be sized well for their purposes. The mute switch cut out is fine, but accessing it is a bit blocked by the back cover. Not so much an issue for me as I seldom use that.Surface bumps for volume and power button are workable, but a bit firm. They do the job.Case has a cloth / elastic cover strap to hold the cover closed. Cover is magnetic but does not engage the built in screen magnets very firmly. So the strap is needed it you are going to toss it in a bag.The strap also holds the cover open fine.There is a 'hand' strap on the inside of the front cover which becomes the back (when open), you can slip your fingers under to help hold it. You should use the other strap when using it in this mode to help keep it together.Would I but it again? Hmm.. for a day-zero review, that is hard to say. It feels nice. It looks nice. Used with care, it should hold up. But only time will tell if the stitching holds the straps in place. I guess I would buy again for another Ipad Mini 1, if I needed to. Best for people who treat their Ipad like a book / folio.
