Mine arrived with package having been open, and the USB casing was loose (soI added a drop of glue).It seems to work just fine on my iPad and PC, so all is well.It's really easy to set up, just plug it in and it shows up in Finder! Having the USB-C connection is also really handy for those of us with Macbooks that don't have any traditional USB ports.However, my main complaint is that moving files to the thumb drive is incredibly slow. I wanted to move some shows I downloaded onto the thumb drive this morning, and the 7.5 GB took almost an hour to transfer.According to the product description, writing speed is up to 15 MB/s, but I only get around 2-3 MB/s on average. If you want very fast transfer speeds, I'd recommend going to a higher price point.My title explains it all. Its durability and longevity will prove its value. As for now I will just have to be content with it.I bought this because i needed it for my old phone. It seemed easy enough. For some reason it was not attaching completely to my Samsung galaxy 9. There was a bit of a space between the phone and the memory stick. I needed to return my old phone so I had no choice but to keep the USB memory stick. I had to attach it to the PC then attach my phone to the PC then transfer from the phone to the USB memory stick through the PC. It was a hassle but like I said, if I didn’t need to return my phone urgently, I would have sent back the memory stick.I especially like the two plugins for different devicesI followed directions and it worked the first time.I had to transfer data from an older Apple computer to a new MacBook laptop. This little jewel made it possible. Used the regular USBside to uploaded the data and then plugged in the newer C thumb drive to download to the new MacBook. Worked perfectly!Just wish it came with a cover.diddnt work properly from the moment I recieved it. I should have stuck with a reputable brand
