Does what it's supposed to and it's good as a result. Front cover magnetizes well and works to turn the screen on or off when open or closed. Being able to remove the front cover is a big reason I like this case as well and the back magnets are very strong. Case has held up well and my only complaint is that I wish they made a version that wasn't compatible with the Apple Pencil as the thinner material on that side doesn't hold as firmly to the iPad as I'd like. That's just being picky though and for the price I'm very happy with this caseWhen I upgraded my iPad Mini 4 to the Mini 6, I figured finding a good case would be simple. How wrong I was. Apple’s cases didn’t offer the easy grip, simple style, and all-around protection I wanted, but neither did any others I tried! After weeks of searching and being disappointed, I bought this one. Finally, a sturdy case that covers the sides and back, has decent lips to protect the camera and screen, and has a removable cover! My only quibble is the material on the right side of the case is softer and more flexible than the other sides. I suppose this is to accommodate the Apple Pencil. But as someone who doesn’t use the Pencil, this means it’s more difficult to grip the right side of my iPad because the case’s soft edge pulls away from tablet under my thumb. Other cases I tried had right sides that were flimsy as paper, so this one is much more substantial by comparison, but I’d love to see someone make a smooth silicone Mini 6 case where all sides have the same rigidity. The esr case is absolutely the best to be real I just got me a case so my I pad won’t be naked butthis Esr takes it to the next level it has a shock proof case that your iPad just rest in and then the face cover and it’s highly magnetic it looks awesome ???10 out of 10 I’m very well pleasedI have bought this case for the use of my DJI drone RC-n1 controller. I really like the detachable folio cover along with the thinness of the case. This case combined with the Rcgeek Tablet Clip Mount Holder Extender Kit is perfect. You dont need to remove the case at all from the tablet to install it on to the controller. And this case should provide satisfactory protection of the ipad from small drops and bumps. Also you can use the standard DJI cable that comes with the controller and dont require buying a different cable. The case seems a little thin, so now waiting to see how well this holds up over time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088NWT5V6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsTHE CASE:- The case itself feels and looks nice. Its not slippery but because it isnt rubberized, it can still slide down a couch cushion or car seat, so be wary of that. The thickness and corner protection is decent and I would expect it to be able to protect the iPad for a 3-4 foot drop on a flat floor inside. Its comfortable to hold but I do wish it had a LITTLE bit more texture so it was even less slippery.- The lip around the screen is very small but I would be okay with putting this face down on a table, so long as there were no crumbs or anything.- The cutouts for the buttons and speakers are perfect. I really like how well they line up with everything. Using touch ID is effortless and the buttons for volume are responsive and clicky. Also gets rid of the camera bump- The case is itself gets very snug over the iPad. It wont get jarred loose by rubbing up against something. or after a fall.- The look of the case itself is rather boring. I wish the backside was transparent so you could see the color of the iPad come through. But its a black and smokey look. Its not gonna catch anyones eye but it is a very standard dark case look.THE COVER:- For starters, I will say the ability to remove the cover at any time is GREAT. I love being able to use the cover when I need it, and take it off when I don't want it. Thats a 5 star feature in itself.- I knew beforehand that the cover does not have wake integration. So the fact that doesn't work does not factor in to my review. People expecting that feature need to get a grip. Nowhere does it say that it offers that feature so stop being upset that it doesn't have it, especially when its so inexpensive.- The cover itself feels very similar to the actual apple smart cover with the felt finish inside and the soft-touch matte plastic on the outside. It also follows the real apple smart cover in that the edges are very thin and weak and they'll definitely wear over time. I don't like the apple smart cover for that exact reason. But paying this much for a removable case makes it a lot more justified that it will wear.- connecting magnets are very strong and high quality- folds easily and properly for the angled views.BIGGEST CRITICISM: while this is my biggest criticism of this product, I do recognize it is somewhat of a necessary tradeoff for a removable cover. Anyway, the biggest criticism I have is that when you remove and reattach the cover, it often doesn't like up exactly as it should with the magnets. You kind of have to play with it and take your time when reattaching the cover, or else the cover will snap on crooked and you wont be able to close it properly. The one way I could see this being fixed is instead of a smooth back for the magnets to snap on anywhere, there should be some kind of indented or outlined area where you can easily snap it on and know that you have it on correctly.BOTTOM LINE:That being said, I love my new iPad mini 6 and having this case has been pretty nice. I can cover the screen and know that it has some decent protection when I slide it into my work bag, and its nice to be able to take it off and just not have the extra floppy weight when Im lounging around the house. I recommend this case for new iPad mini 6 owners. However, I still will be on the lookout for a rubberized silicone case that will give me more confidence from drops.I love this case genius design one second it's a folio the next its a case snap cover back on its a folio again. Light weight, durable, and study protects tablet without adding to much weight. This wasn't my first case. Then it became my choice case. trifold and removable for a portrait lay-stand. Keep the cover, put the cover aside. Perfect for the Use-style with iPad mini gen6. Plus, the snap-flip-tuck is on point smooth machine.I really like this case. It’s protective, but not bulky. When needed for storage or for a stand, the magnetic strength of the cover is really strong. The case arrive dusty and dirty from Amazon, there was a thin film of dust inside and outside of the case. I put the Ipad into the case and the dust transferred to the screen, it is like it had been stored on a building site. The bumper case is cheap and flimsy but has some basic corner protection, the magnet on the second part of the case which forms the screen cover is strong on attaching to the case but there is little to no magnetic pull on the screen. The screen cover was left flapping and was too large for the back part of the case. Its cheap and cheerful but you can get ones half this price with similar qualities. This one is going back I am afraid, it isn't worth £19.00.The cover is sturdy and exact fit to my iPad mini 6. The buttons are easy to press and accurate. Speakers grill are accurately aligned. However, there are few shortcomings to this cover. The magnets activate the screen lock even when the flap is folded all the way back on the back side. I think this is because of strong magnets used on the flop cover or maybe this is an issue with this particular unit only. I hope it will be resolved in the revised design.Magnetically detached cover is a great option for me. When read or play, it is convenient to put it aside. And the tab is still safe in the bumper. When you pack it to go somewhere, you attach the cover and the ipad is safe to go.Easy to attach and detach. Good quality.Amazing products and excellent qualityThe ipad case is really well designed feels premium for its price, definitely value for money. Its material has soft smooth feel and has soft magic close. Its very light weight easy to use. Great overall protection for ipad.
