Good to have somewhere to hold the apple-pen.I’ve purchase several iPad mini cases and so far this one is my favorite. I’ve already dropped my iPad without the case several times so I knew I was going to need a stronger case and this one looks nice too. I love the matte purple color. It’s a little lighter than the color in the pictures online so I’ve added a few pictures but this doesn’t bother me. This is the clove purple color. I just purchased the lavender one because I really liked the case. I not only drop my devices constantly, but I lose my Apple Pencil practically every day, since I’m constantly throwing f it in my bag or putting it down quickly, so it’s nice to have a case that will help prevent that. I thought the right side of the case would bother me but now it’s my favorite. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have an Apple Pencil or some type of stylus that you plan to carry in it though.Case fits the iPad Mini 6 snugly and has a place for the Apple Pencil 2 that lets it charge. Enough grippy feel to not slide out of your hand. Probably would provide adequate protection for short drops. iPad is covered well and allows access to speakers, camera, and charging port. Awake/sleep works well also. Good value for the price.I'm soooo glad I took my time before buying the case for my purple ipad mini. I knew I was already getting Apple's matching purple case but I stumbled upon videos of tech reviewers on Youtube saying they got a better case from elsewhere. I followed their links but I'm so happy that this eventually came up on Amazon's suggested list. I believe I couldn't have gotten anything better. It covers all sides and it holds the Apple pen and lets it charge beside itThe case is nice however the pink color is not the same as the picture. It’s a very muted pink almost tan color.Color is just like the picture and is a very sturdy case. Also stands well.good
